These Terms & Conditions apply to the BluMangoo Gold Membership. By purchasing a Gold Membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights available under applicable Dutch or European consumer law.
1. About the Gold Membership
The BluMangoo Gold Membership costs €1,000.
Every qualifying Gold Member receives:
€1,000 BluMangoo Shopping Credit
1 Gram 22KT Gold Coin (or, if the member prefers, €1,150 Store Credit instead, see section 8A)
Lifetime validity on eligible unused Shopping Credit
Gold Member price protection on selected eligible products
There is no lucky draw for the 1 Gram Gold benefit. Every qualifying Gold Member receives the Gold Membership benefit subject to these Terms.
2. Membership Payment
The Gold Membership price is €1,000. Payment must be successfully completed using a payment method accepted by BluMangoo.
The membership will be confirmed after successful payment and any reasonably required verification. If a payment is cancelled, reversed, charged back, disputed or suspected of fraud, BluMangoo may temporarily suspend the membership and associated benefits while the matter is investigated.
3. €1,000 Shopping Credit
Every qualifying Gold Member receives €1,000 BluMangoo Shopping Credit.
The Shopping Credit will be added to the member's eligible BluMangoo customer account within 48 hours of successful membership purchase and confirmation.
The member may use the available Shopping Credit for eligible purchases from BluMangoo.
4. Early Activation of Shopping Credit
BluMangoo normally activates the €1,000 Shopping Credit within 48 hours of successful membership purchase.
Where applicable consumer law provides a statutory withdrawal period, the customer expressly requests that BluMangoo begin providing the Gold Membership and activate the Shopping Credit before the end of that period.
The customer's statutory withdrawal rights and any consequences of using membership benefits during the withdrawal period will be determined in accordance with applicable law. BluMangoo will not exclude or restrict mandatory statutory consumer rights through these Terms.
5. Using Your Shopping Credit
The Shopping Credit can be used for eligible BluMangoo purchases. There is no requirement to spend the entire €1,000 at once.
Members may spend part of the credit and retain the remaining balance for future eligible purchases, or use the full available balance in one eligible purchase. There is no monthly minimum spending requirement.
6. Lifetime Validity
Eligible unused Gold Membership Shopping Credit has lifetime validity. There is no standard 6-month or 12-month expiry period.
“Lifetime validity” means BluMangoo does not impose a standard expiry date on eligible unused Gold Membership Shopping Credit, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Shopping Credit is not a bank account, savings account, deposit or investment product, does not earn interest, and except where required by law cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. Transfer of Shopping Credit
Gold Membership Shopping Credit is associated with the member's BluMangoo account. It may not be sold, transferred or exchanged with another person unless BluMangoo expressly permits this.
8. Guaranteed Gold Benefit
Every qualifying Gold Member receives 1 Gram 22KT Gold Coin, purchased from GRT Jewellers, India.
This is a guaranteed Gold Membership benefit subject to these Terms. It is not a lucky draw, lottery or competition.
8A. Alternative to the Gold Coin: €1,150 Store Credit
A Gold Member who does not wish to receive the 1 Gram 22KT Gold Coin may instead choose to receive €1,150 BluMangoo Store Credit (the "Alternative Credit"). The Alternative Credit is offered as a value equivalent to the 1 Gram 22KT Gold Coin.
The Alternative Credit replaces the Gold Coin. A member who chooses the Alternative Credit will not also receive the Gold Coin, and a member who receives the Gold Coin will not also receive the Alternative Credit.
The Alternative Credit is added to the member's BluMangoo account in addition to the €1,000 Shopping Credit and is subject to the same terms as the Shopping Credit, including sections 5, 6 and 7 of these Terms. It is not a bank account, savings account or cash deposit and, except where required by law, cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash.
The member makes the choice between the Gold Coin and the Alternative Credit in the manner shown by BluMangoo when purchasing the Gold Membership. Once BluMangoo has ordered or dispatched the Gold Coin, the choice may no longer be changed.
The €1,150 amount is the fixed value of the Alternative Credit. It is not linked to, and will not change with, the market price of gold. Where the member chooses the Alternative Credit, sections 10 to 14 (gold weight, dispatch, delivery and availability) do not apply to that member.
9. Reference to GRT Jewellers
The reference to GRT Jewellers identifies the stated purchase source of the gold product.
Unless separately agreed and authorised, this reference does not mean that GRT Jewellers sponsors, endorses, operates or officially partners with the BluMangoo Gold Membership. BluMangoo remains responsible for the Gold Membership commitments made by BluMangoo to its customers.
10. Gold Weight Protection
Once the member's Gold Membership and gold entitlement have been confirmed, the promised Gold Membership benefit is 1 Gram of 22KT Gold.
An increase in the market price of gold after confirmation will not by itself reduce the promised gold weight. Gold prices can rise or fall. BluMangoo does not guarantee the future monetary value, resale value or investment performance of the gold.
11. Gold Dispatch
The Gold Membership gold coin will be dispatched within 30 days of successful membership purchase, subject to successful payment, membership eligibility, required verification, complete delivery information and an eligible Indian delivery location.
The 30-day commitment relates to dispatch, not final delivery.
12. Gold Delivery
The Gold Membership gold coin will be dispatched to the member's nominated eligible address in India.
After a member chooses the Gold Coin, BluMangoo will contact the member to confirm the recipient name, Indian delivery address, PIN/postal code, contact telephone number and any other information reasonably required for delivery. The member must provide this information accurately and promptly. Actual delivery time after dispatch may vary depending on destination, courier and circumstances outside BluMangoo's reasonable control.
13. Incorrect Delivery Information
Members are responsible for providing accurate gold-delivery information when BluMangoo contacts them to confirm it. If delivery cannot be completed because incorrect or incomplete information was supplied, BluMangoo will make reasonable efforts to contact the member.
Where legally permitted, reasonable additional costs resulting from repeated delivery attempts or address corrections caused by incorrect customer information may be charged to the customer.
14. Gold Availability
BluMangoo's commitment is to provide the qualifying member with 1 Gram of 22KT Gold.
If the exact coin design, packaging or presentation originally intended becomes unavailable, BluMangoo may offer a reasonably equivalent 1 Gram 22KT gold product, subject to applicable law. BluMangoo will not reduce the promised gold weight solely because the market price of gold has increased.
15. Gold Member Price Protection
Gold Members may receive special price protection on selected BluMangoo products. Price protection does not automatically apply to every product.
Eligible products may include selected rice, atta and flour, dals and pulses, spices and everyday grocery essentials. BluMangoo will identify the products covered and the applicable Gold Member price or pricing mechanism.
If an eligible public BluMangoo promotional price is lower than the applicable Gold Member protected price, the member will receive the lower eligible price, subject to the conditions of that promotion.
BluMangoo may periodically change the products included in the Gold Member price-protection programme without affecting the member's €1,000 Shopping Credit or guaranteed 1 Gram Gold entitlement.
16. Returns of Products Purchased Using Credit
Products purchased using Gold Membership Shopping Credit remain subject to BluMangoo's applicable return and refund policy and mandatory consumer rights.
Where an eligible refund relates to an order paid using Shopping Credit, the relevant amount may be returned to the member's Shopping Credit balance where legally permitted. Where applicable law requires another method of reimbursement, BluMangoo will comply with that requirement.
17. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
Where the Gold Membership is purchased online by a consumer, statutory withdrawal rights may apply under Dutch and European consumer law. Where applicable, the standard statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days.
Because BluMangoo intends to activate the Shopping Credit within 48 hours, customers will be asked to expressly request that BluMangoo begin providing the membership before the end of any applicable statutory withdrawal period.
The effect of withdrawal after membership benefits have begun or been used will be determined in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove a statutory withdrawal right where such a right legally applies.
18. Cancellation After Using Shopping Credit
If a customer exercises a valid statutory withdrawal right after using part of the Shopping Credit, BluMangoo may immediately freeze the remaining unused Shopping Credit while the withdrawal is processed.
The appropriate reimbursement and treatment of benefits already used will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer law. BluMangoo will not permit the same value to be both retained as products or benefits and simultaneously refunded where applicable law allows BluMangoo to account for value already supplied.
19. Cancellation and the Gold Benefit
If a valid cancellation or statutory withdrawal request is received before the gold has been dispatched, BluMangoo may stop fulfilment where possible.
If the gold has already been ordered, dispatched or delivered, the treatment of the gold benefit and any reimbursement will be determined according to applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the transaction. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
If the member chose the Alternative Credit under section 8A, sections 18 and 19 apply to the Alternative Credit in the same way as they apply to the Shopping Credit.
20. Gold Is Not an Investment
The BluMangoo Gold Membership is a customer membership and shopping programme. The included gold coin is a membership benefit.
BluMangoo does not guarantee that gold prices will increase, that the gold will generate a profit, that BluMangoo will repurchase the gold or that the member will be able to sell the gold for any particular amount.
21. Account Security, Fraud & Misuse
Members are responsible for maintaining reasonable security over their BluMangoo customer account.
BluMangoo may temporarily suspend Gold Membership benefits where there are reasonable grounds to investigate suspected payment fraud, unauthorised account access, manipulation of Shopping Credit, fraudulent returns or other unlawful activity. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
22. Personal Data
BluMangoo will process personal information required to administer the Gold Membership, Shopping Credit, customer account, gold fulfilment and customer service in accordance with applicable data-protection law and BluMangoo's Privacy Policy.
Where necessary for gold fulfilment, relevant recipient and delivery information may be shared with the applicable supplier, fulfilment provider and/or courier.
23. Changes to the Gold Membership
BluMangoo may introduce additional Gold Member benefits or make reasonable operational changes to the programme.
Such changes will not retrospectively reduce an existing qualifying member's confirmed €1,000 Shopping Credit or 1 Gram 22KT Gold entitlement, subject to applicable law.

25. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Mandatory rights available to consumers under Dutch and European Union law remain unaffected.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
26. Acceptance of Terms
Before completing the Gold Membership purchase, the customer will be asked to confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The applicable Terms should be made available to the customer in a form that can be saved or retained.

Am I losing my €1,000 by becoming a member?
No. Your €1,000 is converted into €1,000 BluMangoo Shopping Credit, which you can use for eligible purchases. You do not need to spend it all immediately.
Is the gold guaranteed, or do I have to win it?
It is guaranteed for every qualifying Gold Member. There is no lucky draw, no competition and no winner selection, subject to the Membership Terms & Conditions.
How long do I have to use my Shopping Credit?

When will I receive my gold, and where is it sent?
After you choose the gold coin, our team will contact you to confirm the recipient name, delivery address in India, PIN code and phone number. You can nominate family in India as the recipient, subject to fulfilment and verification requirements.
What if I don’t want the gold coin?

Can I convert the Shopping Credit back into cash?
